I am sure, the modern science community can not answer the questions and doubts raised over all the above parameters. If you think this an exaggeration, please ask yourself why does the baby goes around kicking and swimming in the mother's womb? Still, please see the rising statistics of birth defects (do not confuse with self-abortion - which may be related and child infanticide).
Female Infanticide is a serious and cruel crime against an unborn female fetus, depriving her the right to 'live, prosper and multiply', and hence a crime against the mankind (literally) and the humanity as it also deprives the men and the human race to prosper. It has a serious consequence of promoting deviant sexual behavior in the society when the balance of man to woman ratio is a skewed beyond the normal average range.
This is very relevant in countries such as India, China, and other Developing and Third Word Countries, where social economic realities and cultural taboos place a boy more desirable for parents than a girl, who is only considered a liability, as daughters in the society laden with dowry system are an expensive and a loosing proposal, as they leave the parents house to live with their husbands, and only sons stay back and look after the aging parents. The myopic vision of these parents fail to see the long term consequence to the humanity, and not to mention their moral obligation to a girl fetus they created together, and the inethical treatment of a life.
While watching some science experiments, I got this idea, what if the rise of Birth Defects is also related to the over abuse of the Ultrasound Imaging during a child's stay in the mother's womb. Perhaps with the sole reason of having a liable idiotic boy, the parents will have a sense to not go for a sex determination and kill female babies.
Body has upto 80% Body Water, specially in soft tissues such as the Brain. Also Neuron and Maeylin is made of a lot of Fat Tissues as well. Remember water is life, and peace and tranquility of the mother's womb is equally important for the growth of a healthy embryo, fetus, baby at different stages. So sound waves shaking a living tissue definitely has some implication.
